Secure Data Transfer
All the pages in our ordering system which transfer your personal details and credit card information are encrypted (128 bit) before being sent to the pediwear server. This makes it extremely difficult for people to intercept this information. Our secure pages are certified by Thawte - click on the Thawte logo for more information:
Privacy
Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? WebTrader Code of Practice.
We collect information about you for two reasons; firstly to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us consent.
The Type of information we will collect about you is as follows.
- Your name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Credit/debit card details
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date to the best of our knowledge. You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.
Unsolicited E-Mails
We do have a mailing list, which customers can opt in and out of. Customers on the mailing list may receive occassional promotional emails when we have special offers or new stock online. If you opt our of our mailing list (Click Here) we will certainly not forward unsolicited e-mails.
Web Statistics
We keep track of the number of visitors to our site (using web log statistics only). This cannot be used to identify you.
Cookies
The shopping basket on this site uses a "cookie" which is stored temporarily (maximum of 3 hours) on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening, though this would prevent the shopping basket from working.
Some of the other pages on the pediwear site may use a cookie to identify which site you were referred from. These are deleted as soon as you finish using your browser.
The information collected by cookies on the pediwear site cannot be
used to identify you.

Returns
It is our intention to offer a problem free mailing service which customers will use on a regular basis. Our reputation depends on our level of service and customer satisfaction.
All items are checked thoroughly prior to dispatch and should reach you undamaged and ready for use.
In the unlikely event that items are received faulty or damaged a total refund including return shipping is given.
Should you find the goods unsuitable (wrong size, colour etc), a full refund will be offered providing the shoe shows no signs of wear. However, you will be obliged to pay the cost of the return shipping. We will endeavour to advise and hopefully provide you with a suitable replacement - and would share the outward shipping cost on the replacement pair.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 recommended return period of 7 working days, within which the consumer can return their goods without giving a reason. We would like to confirm that we offer the consumer the right to return their goods within 30 days.
None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Complaints
Should you have cause to complain about our Service or Merchandise we always endeavour to respond immediately and certainly within 2 working days. Send your complaints to sales@pediwear.co.uk.
